Super Drop Mania

Spotlight December - Super Drop Mania

We would have liked to have a true Christmas themed game up for the December Spotlight, but frankly, none of the titles that fit that description were any good. Instead, we've chosen a great puzzle game that happens to have some christmas- and winter themed backgrounds in it. The puzzle genre is probably best represented and best played on the mobile phone. A good and truly distinctive puzzle game is hard to come by, though. Many of them are clones that are never as addictive and appealing as the original.

Spotlight November - Knight Tales

It's hard to find good role playing games on the mobile phone. Too many of them are ill structured and cumbersome affairs that lull the player to sleep. On top of that, they tend to badly steal from more succesful games in the genre and feature non-descriptive graphics. While Knight Tales: Land of Bitterness is far from original, the graphics are very clear defined and appealing and the game certainly doesn't put you to sleep.

Spotlight October - Darkest Fear 2

The skies are darkening, the weather is getting colder and Halloween is upon us. The perfect time to accompany Dr. Thomas Warden on his quest to find out what happened to the inhabitants of the eerie town of Grim Oak in te sequel to the horror-themed adventure game Darkest Fear: Darkest Fear 2: Grim Oak.

Alpha Wing 2

Spotlight September - Alpha Wing 2

The vertical space shooter genre really took off with Namco's Xevious, released in arcades worldwide in 1982 and has known milestones as Aleste, the Raiden series, Axelay, Radiant Silvergun, perhaps even Konami's Twinbee series and games like Ikaruga and ESPGaluda more recently. And here on Commodore Gaming we have our own quality vertical space shooter: Alpha Wing 2.

Spotlight August - Ancient Empires II

For the month August, the spotlight shines on the best rated game we have on offer at Commodoregaming.com. Ancient Empires II is a turn based strategy game with its concept heavily 'borrowed' from the Advance Wars series of Game Boy Advance and Nintendo DS fame. Only with a medieval fantasy setting.

Spotlight June - Soccer Revolution

It is only right, now with World Cup fever rising to a true crescendo, that we take time out to highlight a new mobile football game available here at Commodoregaming.com. The game is Soccer Revolution, a mobile football game as mobile football games are meant to be, and one of the best of its kind.
